Week 5 Activities

Sunshine Activities at Studio!

The sun has finally made an appearence,
which our students have decidedly made the most of
during their day time activities!

Here are a selection of photos of what our students have been getting up to this week :)

Punting is always a popular activity,
but for the last few days the river Cam has been swamped with our enthusiastic Studio punters!

A punting traffic jam under Silver Street Bridge! Although most students have never been punting before, they pick it up very fast and before long are often better than the Studio Activity Organisers (or at least, they like to think so!).

Botanic Gardens!

There is nothing quite so quintessentially English than spending a few hours in the Cambridge Botanic gardens, when the sun is shining.

Just a few minutes walk from Sir Michael's main school, the park was heavenly this week- full of wildlife, flowers, luscious and exotic vegetation, as well as many of our happy students!

Week 4 excursion to Stratford and Warwick Castle

We visited Stratford, a town famed for being the birth place and home of Shakespeare. After a walking tour and some free time to eat lunch we headed to Warwick Castle, where there is loads to explore and experience!

The castle is over 1000 years old and students can enjoy archery, birds of prey and an incredible trebuchet display!

Student of the Week: Week 4

It is the end of another busy week here at Sir Michael. This means it is time to say goodbye to some of our students and also award our Student of the Week title.

Well done to Nina, she is student of the week! This celebrates her hard work and positive attitude.

Congratulations to the other nominees too and good luck to all of our students who are leaving this week. We hope you enjoyed your stay!

London Excursion week 3

We go to London once every two weeks and there is always something new to do or see!

This week we started off with a walking tour of some of the famous sights before heading to the National Gallery, where we saw some very famous works of art. We also went to Covent Garden for a spot of shopping and were entertained by the street performers!
